Mulgrew wants to be new Bhoy

Well I can’t quite believe it but it does look like Charlie Mulgrew may be making a sensational return to Parkhead.

A firm offer has yet to be made but there is increased speculation in the media that an offer is imanent.

It looked like Mulgrew was heading to English Championship side Sheffield Utd, but interest from Celtic appears to have changed all that with Mulgrew holding out for Neil Lennon to make an offer taking him back to Parkhead.

Mulgrew who never made a first team appearance when last a Celtic player, from 2002-06, will surely feel he has a point to prove and would relish the challenge to hold down a place in Lennon’s new Celtic side.
