As many will be aware the fixtures against Hearts and Dundee United have been altered since the fixtures were intially relased, with the latter causing much controversey.

Analysing the fixtures: Aberdeen at least have 3 home games. Which really must be won if European football is to be secured. Our two away games, are to places we have not been very successful of late. From the standponit of getting a result I would much rather have had Dundee United at Pittodrie. The home tie against Hibs on the last day looks very winnable, especially if Hibs have little to play for. However it is not out of the question, the way the fixtures are laid out, that the dons find themselves too far adrift come the Hibs match on the last day.

It is impossible to predict what will happen, what is for certain is that European qualification will not be easy.
