Dons fans will descend upon the capital tomorrow, hoping their team can overtake Hearts in the race of Europe.
Jimmy Calderwood told Red TV that the loss of Berra combined with the unavailabiltiy of Zaliukas may leave Hearts depleted at the back:
“Those two are a massive loss to Hearts.
“Berra and Zaliukas formed one of the best defensive partnerships in the league.
“Both are strong in the air and powerful tacklers.
“They were a key part of how Hearts played during the first half of the campaign.
“They were able to push up the park with confidence because they had the insurance of knowing Berra and Zaliukas would make sure they didn`t give away too much.
Ricky Foster emphasised to Red TV the added edge this game held:
There was a skirmish in the tunnel after the last meeting, and that will certainly give tomorrow`s game a little more edge.
Hearts Team News:
Hearts defender Marius Zaliukas begins his four match ban while Laryea Kingston is a doubt.
Player to watch: Bruno Aguiar
Aguiar is an important player in the Hearts midfield and the result may depend alot upon whether or not he can get a grip of the game.
Aberdeen Team News:
Jamie Smith is nearing a return but will play no part. Gary McDoanld also misses out.
Player to watch: Scott Severin
With Seve yet to sign a new contact and other clubs apparently interested. It will be intriguing to see how the dons skipper will perform against his old club.
