Aberdeen welcome Champions Celtic to Pittodrie for the club’s final home match of the season on Sunday.

The Dons have had an indifferent season this season but have tried to turn their form around in the second half of the season but they have had one too many draws.

The Dandy Dons can only look at what Hearts achieved this season and wonder if someone would put the same kind of money into their club as Mr Romanov has done at Tynecastle, then they may have been the team to split the Old Firm but congratulations to Hearts they have deserved their success this season.

I am sure that Jimmy Calderwood would love some more money to add to this squad as he knows that he will lose quality players like Kevin McNaughton and perhaps Ferne Snoyl,as no one knows what is happening with his situation as yet.

I am sure that the Pittodrie faithful will give Kevin their full support in his final match with the club but they will have to sit and watch another talented player leaving the club but will he walk on to the bus to Glasgow after the match or is England or Europe a more likely destination ?

The Celtic Manager and former Dons favourite also will receive a warm welcome from the fans who once worshiped Gordon when he was a terror of both the Old Firm defence’s in his time at Pittodrie as well as Europe’s elite !

Let’s hope for a good entertaining match to end the season with and both sets of supporters get value for money,as these teams can deliver.
